Charter Review Commission

Duties

The Charter Review Commission reviews the City Home Rule Charter and recommends any changes that will keep it current with everyday needs and operations and also within state and federal regulations, if any, to present to the voters. The commission presents their report to City Council for approval to be placed on the May ballot in odd years. The City Charter can only be amended every two years and can be found here.

Meetings

The commission is appointed in even years and meets as needed for full review of the City Charter.
