Volunteer For A Board & Commission

The City of Richwood’s boards and commissions offer the public a chance to become involved in different aspects of local government.   Citizen involvement is essential in providing the best services.  By choosing to volunteer, you can strengthen our great city by connecting with families, neighbors, and communities through service.  Serving others is as easy as planting a garden, reading to a child, or picking up litter.  Make a difference in your community! Board and commission members are appointed according to terms. However, there are, at times, vacancies that come up throughout the year that will need to be filled in a timely manner.

Unless otherwise noted, meetings are held in the Council Chambers at Richwood City Hall, 1800 Brazosport Blvd, Richwood, Texas 77531.

An item must be placed on the agenda for the board to discuss and/or decide on.

The City Council is committed to appointing dedicated people to its boards or commissions and encourages all City of Richwood residents to apply. If you are interested in serving, you may submit a typed or handwritten version of the Application and send it to the address below.
