Debt Transparency Information can be found by clicking here

The mission of the City of Richwood City Manager & Finance offices is to provide total transparency to our residents, taxpayers, and the public.

This page is meant to provide additional information to ensure that we are being transparent with the city’s finances.  By opening our books to the public, our taxpayers have the opportunity to see exactly where their money is being utilized in the operation of the city.

In May of 2021, the City of Richwood was awarded a Transparency Star from the State Comptroller’s Office. This award recognizes local governments for going above and beyond in their transparency efforts. The program recognizes government entities that accomplish the following:

  • Open their books not only in their traditional finances, but also in the areas of contracts and procurement, economic development, public pensions and debt obligations; and
  • Provide clear and meaningful financial information not only by posting financial documents, but also through summaries, visualizations, downloadable data and other relevant information.
