The City of Richwood staff is comprised of 5 administrative departments:

  1. Administration The Administration Department is comprised of the City Manager, the Finance Director, the City Secretary, the Administrative Assistant, and a Customer Service Representative.  This department is responsible for overall management and operations of the City, economic development, management of all municipal finances, asset management, risk mitigation, purchasing, project management, utility billing, records management, elections, boards and commissions, and personnel.
  2. Police Department – The Police Department is comprised of the Police Chief, 2 Sergeants, 1 detective, 6 full-time officers, and 1 part-time officer.  Police officers provide protection to the general public.  They perform a variety of duties, including but not limited to patrolling neighborhoods, directing traffic and investigating crimes.
  3. Public Works Department – The Public Works Department is comprised of the Public Works Director, the Public Works Foreman, 5 Operators and 1 Maintenance Tech.  This department is responsible for maintenance of the Parks, Streets, Drainage, Water and Wastewater Infrastructure.
  4. Building Department – The Building Department is comprised of a building official (vacant) and 1 Customer Service Representative.  This department is responsible for Code Enforcement, Permitting, and Inspections.
  5. Municipal Court The Municipal Court is comprised of the Court Clerk and the City Secretary. The Municipal Court serves under the direction of Jack Brown, Municipal Judge and Dorothy Zavala, Associate Municipal Judge.

The City Hall is open Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m..
