Duties
Keep Richwood Beautiful has been combined with our Parks board and is currently looking for volunteers to assist with community events and to help them achieve their mission.
Keep Richwood Beautiful work to achieve their goals through a partnership that includes government, businesses and volunteers to stop littering, educate about recycling, and plan clean-up campaigns and other programs. KRB plans plantings, layouts and developments to enhance the beauty of the city. As Parks Committee, KRB, also plans a variety of park improvements, and recreational events such as Christmas in the Park and Trunk or Treat.
Teach Them 2 Care is their motto and their mission is to empower Richwood residents and those of the surrounding communities to take responsibility for enhancing Richwood’s environment. Keep Richwood Beautiful (KRB) has been very successful in achieving their mission, winning the state’s most prestigious award, Governor’s Community Achievement Award, three times, and being in the Presidents’s Circle on the national level.

Meetings
This committee meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:15 p.m. Additional planning workshops may be scheduled as needed.
