City of Richwood Seeking Applicants for City Council Position #3

The City of Richwood is currently accepting applications from qualified residents interested in serving on the City Council. This appointment will fill an unexpired term for Position #3, which runs through May 2027.

Eligibility Requirements:

Applicants must:

• Be a registered voter in Brazoria County
• Have resided continuously within the Richwood city limits for at least one (1) year
• Be at least twenty-one (21) years of age

Meeting Schedule and Expectations:

The City Council meets regularly on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 PM. Council members are also expected to attend workshops and fulfill additional responsibilities as part of their service.
