The City of Richwood is currently accepting applications from residents interested in serving on the Charter Review Committee.

The Charter serves as the foundation for how our City government operates. Periodically reviewing the Charter gives residents an opportunity to take an active role in their local government and help ensure it continues to meet the needs of our community.

The Charter Review Commission reviews the City Home Rule Charter and recommends any changes that will keep it current with everyday needs and operations and within state and federal regulations, if any, to present to the voters. The commission presents its report to the City Council for approval to be placed on the May ballot in odd years.

Residents who are interested in serving and helping shape the future of Richwood are encouraged to apply.
