Duties

The Planning Commission studies long range needs of the city and is an integral part of creating and maintaining the development ordinances. The commission also deals with developers and subdividers and conducts public hearings as necessary. This board is a recommending body to the City Council.

Meetings

Meetings are held as needed on Council meeting days. Items presented to the Planning Commission on the agenda usually include requests for replats, and rezonings. To view agendas and minutes of past Planning meetings visit our Agendas and Minutes site.
