On Monday, June 12th, the City Council held a public hearing in their capacity as the Planning and Zoning Commission for a request to rezone undeveloped property located between N. Yaupon, Wisteria and Oyster Creek Dr.
In light of the responses at that public hearing, the owner/developer has withdrawn their request to rezone the property. The property will remain zoned at R-1 Single-Family Residential and the owner/developer is examining building single-family homes without any changes to lot sizes or to the property’s zoning.
Therefore, the second public hearing previously scheduled for July 10th is now cancelled.
