Official Update: Flooding

In response to requests, we will be allowing a one-time window for residents to walk in and visit their homes while the City has additional resources to facilitate an orderly re-entry process. The residents that would like to visit their homes will be allowed to in from 2 PM to 5 PM today under the following conditions:

  • Everyone wanting to enter the most heavily flooded areas must check-in and check-out at the Community Center located at 611 Audubon Woods Dr. or at the corner of Moore St. and Oyster Creek Drive
  • No motorized vehicles will be allowed
  • Kayaks or other small boats that can be carried will be allowed
  • One (1) resident and one (1) guest will be permitted access at any check point
  • The resident must have a valid picture ID and proof of residency
    • (If a driver's license shows a current address this would suffice for all ID requirements)
  • Each person making entry must be at least 18 years of age
  • There will be no parking near the check-in points or on the neighboring streets
  • Those making entry must be dropped off at the check-in stations and then the drop-off vehicle must clear the area and return later
